Police Investigating Incident At St Leonards Property

Detectives are investigating an incident at a property in St Leonards.

Sussex Police were called to an address in Seven Acre Close shortly before 4.30am today.

Officers remain at the scene while enquiries continue.

Detective Chief Superintendent Karrie Bohanna said:

"At the moment we believe this was an isolated incident that does not pose a threat to the wider community.

"We are in the early stages of our investigation and we are not able to comment further at this time."

She added that there will be an increased police presence in the area while officers carry out their investigation.
