Brighton-born author Peter James, whose Detective Roy Grace series has been brought to ITV, says he's "thrilled" to confirm a third series for 2023.
James tweeted the news yesterday (May 19):
Seeing GRACE adapted so well for the small screen and to see it top the national TV viewing ratings for three consecutive Sundays, is more than a dream come true♥️ and I'm really thrilled to confirm that there will be a third series!!!

So far there's no confirmation as to which of his Roy Grace series will be the next to be televised, however, James has a new book coming out later this year, titled Picture You Dead, which features Brighton Museum and focuses on 'the dubious dealings of the art world'.
Set in Brighton, the first two series have heavily featured iconic parts of the city, including both piers, the i360, beach and countryside scenes and various streets in the seafront area.
Nearly nine million people watched the debut episode of the series last year.
The final episode of the second series airs on Sunday night at 8pm on ITV.
