A man has been charged after two people were injured in Lancing last Friday (19).
Police said they were called to reports of an altercation around the Penhill Road and Cecil Road area of the town, shortly before 5pm.
Two people suffered minor injuries.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly members of the public who flagged down police officers at the scene.
Michael Blades, 37, unemployed, of no fixed address, appeared before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Monday (22) charged with three counts of assault by beating.
He is next due to appear in court on August 7.
