Permanent Murals To Feature At West Sussex Hospitals To Mark Pandemic

The Western Sussex Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking residents of the county to get involved in the creation of permanent murals, reflecting the coronavirus pandemic, which will feature at its hospitals.

Residents are asked to send in photos of a drawing, sculpture, or anything creative that they have created to feature on one of the murals, which are set to be showcased on the walls of Southlands, Worthing, and St Richard's hospitals.

The murals are hoped to ensure the love and support for the Trust's teams is appreciated for years to come and to seed a long-lasting legacy of support for the hospitals.

If you'd like to get involved, there are some guidelines to follow.

Guidelines for taking photos:
1.    Ensure the image is in focus and brightly lit (preferably daylight)
2.    Keep the image landscape (phone on the side)
3.    Get the image to fill the screen as much as possible

Guidelines for sending high-resolution images:
Please send full quality images using email
4.    Send the image to [email protected]
5.    Attach the image as a file; please don't place it in the text body.

Please send full quality images using WhatsApp:
Open WhatsApp and select 'Attachments' as you normally would.
6.    Select 'Documents' instead of 'Gallery'.
7.    Select the file or Browse to it and hit Send.
8.    Press 'Send' when back in the main screen and WhatsApp will send it without compressing it.

The closing date for submissions is July 14.
