There's an identity appeal after reports were made to police about a woman in distress in Eastbourne.
A member of the public called officers to Seaside, just before 3.20am on Sunday, November 27, 2022, after witnessing an altercation between a man and a woman.
The man was confronted by the member of the public and made off towards St. Aubyns Road.
The victim was escorted home and required treatment for minor injuries.
Investigating officers are eager to speak to the man shown in the image, who is described as being black, 5’9” and of slim build. He had short, black hair and was wearing a jacket and blue jeans.
