A West Sussex man who sexually assaulted three young girls over a 15-year period has started a 13-year prison sentence.
Christopher Brock, 67, now of Coolham Road, Thakeham near Pulborough, was given the sentence, including an year on extra prison licence, at Brighton Crown Court on 31 March.
Police said the victims of his sex attacks were aged between eight and 15.
His conviction and sentencing follows a series of enquiries by safeguarding detectives within Sussex Police.
Brock will also be a registered sex offender for life.
The court also imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, to last until further court order, severely restricting his access to children.
Detective Constable Della Squires of the Sussex Police Safeguarding Investigations Unit said:
"Brock assaulted his victims over several years for his own sexual gratification.
"They bravely supported our investigation and gave evidence against Brock in court which helped bring him to justice.
"We will always investigate such reports and ensure that those who make them receive specialist support."
