Latest government figures show a total of 39 new coronavirus cases were recorded across Sussex in the 24 hours to 4pm on Saturday (April 3).
It means short-term case reductions across the More Radio area are staying minimal, though the long-term trend is downwards.
Health officials also warned on Thursday that figures over the Easter weekend may be incomplete, because of the public holiday.
The lowest number of new diagnoses was recorded in the city of Brighton and Hove, with just eight positive tests on Saturday.
East Sussex recorded 12 cases, and the figure for West Sussex was 19.
Further figures covering Sunday are expected around 4pm this afternoon.
