Three Youths Threatened With Stabbing After Two Robberies In Chichester

There's an appeal for information after three youths were robbed under the threat of being stabbed in two incidents in Chichester.

They happened between 9pm and 10pm on Wednesday, August 31 in Stocks Lane.

The first victim had his coat taken near the bus stop at around 9.15pm, then later at about 9.50pm, two other boys were robbed - one of his vape and the other of his vape, phone and bank card.

During both incidents, the victims were approached by three boys but none of the victims actually saw the knife they were being threatened with.

Officers attended the scene and later found a 16-year-old boy outside the Co-Op store in Bracklesham that matched a description provided by the victims. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on conditional bail until September 29.

As part of the ongoing investigation, anyone who knows the identities of these boys, or has any other information relevant to the robberies, is asked to report online, or call 101 quoting serial 1429 of 31/08.
