Woman Air-Lifted To Hospital After Crowborough Collision

A 77-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital following a collision on the A26 near Crowborough.

Police are appealing for dashcam footage after the silver Ford Fiesta Titanium, travelling northbound, just north of Boarshead, veered across the southbound lane and landed on its side on a bank, around 1.30pm last Wednesday (July 7).

The driver, from Southampton, was flown to London's Kings College Hospital with serious injuries - she's now in a stable condition.

Her passenger, an 80-year-old woman from Hampshire, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury for treatment..

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have been driving in the area at the time and saw the Fiesta or has dash cam footage is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 666 of 07/07.
