Police would like to speak to the man pictured, in relation to an assault at a bus stop at Rottingdean.
It happened outside The White Horse Hotel on Marine Drive between 5 and 6pm on September 1.
A man sitting next to the woman became verbally abusive, suddenly spraying the woman with a substance that caused her face to redden and burn.
The man is described as 5’ 5” and of stocky build. He was wearing a light blue, short-sleeved shirt, and blue jeans.
The man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 183 of 02/09.
