Brother Of Fallen East Sussex Police Officer Raises Nearly £10,000 In Three Peaks Tribute Challenge

The brother of a Kent Police officer who died while on duty has helped raise almost £10,000 for the air ambulance crew who fought to save his life.

PC Bradley Corke, 27, from Hastings in East Sussex, died in March following a crash while responding to an emergency call in Farningham, near Swanley in Kent.

His brother Nathan, along with friends Jamie Simpson and Joe Worsley, completed the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey and Sussex (KSS).

Nathan said the fundraising effort was a way of thanking the air ambulance team who treated Bradley at the scene.

“They worked on Brad and got his heart going again after it happened, giving us a chance to say goodbye to him at the hospital,” he said. “There are no words to thank them enough.”

The trio climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Wales, and Helvellyn in England — completing the challenge in just under 22 hours.

They chose Helvellyn instead of Scafell Pike due to its personal significance, after Bradley and Jamie had previously climbed it together in 2024.

During the challenge, they released blue flares at each summit in tribute to Bradley, a lifelong Brighton & Hove Albion supporter and serving police officer.

Nathan said the moments were deeply emotional, adding that it felt like Bradley was “watching over them” during the climbs.

The group said they drew inspiration from his determination and attitude, describing the challenge as both physically demanding and personally meaningful.

A spokesperson for KSS said they were “incredibly grateful” for the fundraising effort, adding that completing the Three Peaks Challenge in such a time was an “inspirational achievement”.
