Eight Fire Engines Tackle Blaze At Ford Waste Centre

Eight fire engines are tackling a fire at a waste transfer site in West Sussex.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the site in Ford Road, Ford, at around 10.03am today.
A water carrier has also been sent to the scene as crews work to bring the blaze under control.
Pictures from Ford Industrial Estate show a large plume of smoke rising from the building.
People living nearby are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed because of the smoke.
The fire service has also asked people to avoid the area while crews deal with the incident.
There is currently no information on whether anyone has been injured or what caused the fire.
