A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a crash on the A267 in East Sussex.
Emergency services were called to North Street in Hellingly at around 6.45am on Thursday after a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The A267 remains closed in both directions between the Boship roundabout in Hailsham and the B2104 junction while emergency services deal with the incident and police investigate what happened.
The closure is the third to affect the road in the space of a week, following two separate crashes on August 6.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
Information can be provided by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting reference 258 of 13/08.
