Two Women Seriously Injured In Littlehampton Crash

Two women have been seriously injured following a collision in Littlehampton.

Emergency services were called to the A284 Nightingale Way at around 16:50 on Wednesday 26th August after a Ford Transit van and trailer collided with a Honda Jazz near the A259 Worthing Road roundabout.

The 67-year-old driver of the Honda and her 87-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

A 66-year-old man driving the Ford Transit was uninjured.

Sussex Police is investigating the circumstances and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage who has not already spoken to police.
