Crawley now has the highest infection rate in Sussex, according to the latest data from Public Health England.

It's after 945 cases were identified in the city in the past seven days, pushing the rate per 100,000 people to 840.7.

Hastings previously was ranked highest in the region, but now sits with an infection rate of 801.8 cases per 100,0000 people, after declaring 163 cases yesterday (Tuesday).

Elsewhere in Sussex, Rother reported 607 cases in the past week, with its infection rate now at 631.8 per 100,000, and Eastbourne now sitting at 727.7 per 100,000 after reporting 755 cases in a week.

It comes as Health Chiefs in West Sussex have announced that the county's infection rate has now risen above the national average.
