Police are searching for a man who appeared to be attempting to enter a property in Bexhill in the early hours of the morning.
A woman in her twenties awoke at around 4.30am on July 20th to a man leaning in through her ground floor bedroom window in London Road.
He then made an indecent remark, whereupon she managed to close the window and he made off.
The man, spotted on nearby CCTV, is described as white, wearing a baseball-style cap, glasses, grey winter gloves, and dark clothing, with a grey top of some kind in his waist band, on a very warm summer night.
Detective Sergeant Paul Elrick said:
"Do you recognise this man? This was a frightening and very unpleasant experience for the victim, although it is an isolated incident and we have not had anything similar in the area.
"We want to find him and establish exactly what he was up to.
"If you can help please contact us either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 180 of 20/07."
