An early-morning fire at a home in St. Leonards needed a total of four fire engines to tackle the incident, early on Sunday morning (17 December).
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue spokesperson said crews were called at 5.26am to reports of a fire at a residential property on Newhaven Walk, St Leonards.
Officials confirmed that four appliances attended, bringing crews who used breathing apparatus to put the fire out.
One male was passed into the care of the ambulance service.
