A teenager has been arrested this afternoon (Tuesday) on suspicion of manslaughter after a second man went overboard off the Dorset coast in the early hours of yesterday.
Dorset Police say a 19-year-old man from Southampton remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
David Haw, a 24-year-old from Sussex, fell from an inflatable boat in Poole Harbour, necessitating a joint search between the police, RNLI, Coastguard and Dorset and Rescue.
The Maritime Coastguard Agency had earlier received a 2.15am call regarding an unidentified person in the water at Poole Harbour.
Mr Haw has been described as white, around 5ft 10in, with a short beard and mousey brown hair that is shaved at the sides and back.
The incident happened on the final day of the biannual Poole Regatta, which was forced to suspend yacht racing while inquiries were carried out.
It announced on its website that its prize-giving ceremony has also been cancelled.
