A woman has been charged with a burglary in Rye, and with stealing a green Land Rover.
Police said a house in Pottingfield Road was entered on March 17 and around £300 worth of jewellery was stolen.
Chantelle Williams, 41, unemployed, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with the burglary and with stealing a green Land Rover.
She appeared in custody at Brighton Magistrates Court on 23 March and was remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court at a later date.
Detective Sergeant Paul Elrick said;
"If you saw anything suspicious in Rye that afternoon, or of you saw a green Land Rover being driven erratically in St Leonards on 20 March, please contact us online (link will be added) or by calling 101, quoting serial 356 of 17/03."
