This isn't just a singing competition — it's children helping children. We’re calling on the young stars of Sussex to raise their voices and help to support families facing the unimaginable!

Sing for Sussex is back! A powerful, heart-warming initiative where children across the county use their voices not just to sing, but to make a difference. To enter, simply upload your and your child's details along with an audio clip of a song of your choice (clips should be no longer than three minutes in length).  ​

Short-listed finalists will then be invited to perform LIVE on a special edition of the More Radio Breakfast Show with Tom, Lou, and Jack on Friday 30th October — a morning filled with music, emotion, and purpose.

And for one shining star, an unforgettable prize awaits: a professional recording studio experience at Rok Skool!

Entering couldn't be easier:

● Choose a song your child loves
● Record an audio or video clip as an MP3 or MP4 of them singing - up to 3 minutes
● Fill in your details and your child’s details
● Make a £20 donation to Children with Cancer Fund as part of the entry

All proceeds* from the competition will go towards the Children with Cancer Fund. Children with Cancer Fund is a local UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people who have, or have had, cancer, as well as their families across East Sussex, Brighton, and Hove. Founded in 1998, the organisation grants practical, medical, and recreational ‘wishes’ to help families create meaningful, quality time together, while also extending support to local hospitals and community nurses who assist in the children's care.

That's why we're also asking every entrant to donate at least £20* to Children with Cancer Fund as part of your entry - it really, really is appreciated! Just fill in yours and your child's details and submit your clip and donation using the form below.

*£19.38 from each £20 donation will go directly to Children with Cancer Fund, a 62p mandatory transaction processing fee from our payment provider is applied (83p for a £30 donation, £1.04 for a £40 donation, £1.25 for a £50 donation)

Please note that entries from those aged 5 and up to and including 18 will be accepted. Entries close September 27th 2026; entrants will be told within two weeks of the closing date if they are successful finalists. Please note that finalists must be available to attend in person. If your child is unable to attend the live final, they will not be able to compete.
