Burglar Jailed For Targeting Offices And Building Sites

A man who stole fuel, vehicles and equipment from construction sites and offices across Sussex has been jailed for more than three years.
Kuba Graczyk, 37, formerly of Richmond Avenue in Bognor, admitted nine offences at Lewes Crown Court on September 9.
They included burglaries, thefts, criminal damage, receiving stolen goods, theft of a vehicle and possession of amphetamines.
Graczyk first stole diesel from a construction site in Arundel in November 2024.
He was arrested the following month on suspicion of stealing a vehicle and possessing amphetamines.
In January 2025, he damaged a fuel bowser and fencing at a construction site in Chichester before stealing diesel.
The following March, police were called to a break-in at an office building on Terminus Road, where a vehicle was also stolen.
Officers traced stolen laptops and other items back to Graczyk, who was found hiding in woodland near the stolen vehicle by a police dog.
In July 2025, he broke into an office building on Hazelwick Avenue in Three Bridges, causing damage to get inside.
A hammer, pliers and screwdriver found by police were later linked to Graczyk through DNA evidence.
The court heard that he had also stolen around £12,000 worth of computer equipment and phones from the Three Bridges building, as well as equipment from an architecture firm and the NHS in Chichester.
Graczyk was sentenced to three years and two months in prison.
