Plans for more than 150 new homes in Ashington are set to go before councillors next week — with over 200 objections lodged against the proposal.
Horsham District Council’s planning committee will meet on 4 November to decide whether to approve the outline application for land west of Ashington Church of England Primary School.
The plans, submitted by Bellway Homes in 2023, include 152 new homes, along with an all-weather sports pitch, sports pavilion, allotments, and a new access road from Church Lane.
Many residents have raised concerns about increased traffic and parking pressures, while planning officers have recommended the scheme be approved.
