Police have moved to reassure businesses in Hastings after two men admitted carrying out a series of break-ins in the town centre.
The offences, reported over a week in April, prompted a rapid investigation involving local officers and specialist teams.
Both suspects have now pleaded guilty in court and remain in custody ahead of sentencing.
Chief Inspector Sarah Taylor said officers had taken “robust action” and confirmed further enquiries are continuing, alongside increased patrols to support businesses and prevent further crime.
