Police renew appeal after serious assault in Hastings

A month on from a serious assault in West View, Hastings, detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses who have not yet come forward.

A 21-year-old man sustained a serious injury at around 4.40pm on Friday, 19 June and was taken to hospital for treatment.

He is continuing to recover, however the investigation remains ongoing.

Since the incident, detectives have carried out extensive enquiries, including house-to-house visits, reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to potential witnesses.

Despite this work, officers believe there may still be people with information who have not yet spoken to police.

Investigators are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area at the time.
