Sussex Events Guide — November 2025

A host of Autumnal events are taking place across Sussex this month.

Here are some of our picks to keep an eye out for!

Remember Nature 2025 – Pebble Drawing Workshop

• When: Tuesday 4 November 2025, 10:30 am – 1:00 pm

• Where: De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, East Sussex

• Cost: Free (booking required)

• What’s on: Join artist Nancy Odufona for a stroll along Bexhill promenade collecting pebbles, then return to draw them using oil pastels and watercolours. The resulting works will form a collaborative mural celebrating the coastline.

Angels’ Den Sussex 2025

• When: Thursday 6 November 2025, 6:30 pm

• Where: i360 Tower, Brighton, Sussex

• What’s on: Ten local charities pitch their ideas on stage with the hope of gaining funding and support. Expect inspiring stories, audience engagement, and a chance to help community causes.

Five Trails Ultra & Three Trails Half (Petworth)

• When: Saturday 8 November 2025

• Where: Petworth, West Sussex

• Cost: Entry fee (varies by distance)

• What’s on: A running event offering multiple distances (half marathon, ultra, etc.) through scenic trails in the Sussex countryside — ideal for trail-running enthusiasts.

Rye Bonfire & Fireworks

• When: Saturday 15 November 2025, procession from ~7:50 pm

• Where: Rye, East Sussex

• Cost: Typically free (donation or collections)

• What’s on: A torchlit procession through Rye leads to a dramatic bonfire (complete with boat burning) and a fireworks display. It’s one of Sussex’s most beloved Bonfire Night traditions.

Saturday Table Sale & Street Markets (Hastings / St Leonards)

• When: Saturday 1 November 2025, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

• Where: Kings Road, St Leonards-on-Sea & venues in Hastings

• Cost: Free entry (costs apply to stallholders)

• What’s on: A mix of secondhand treasures, crafts, food stalls and local produce. Great for browsing, bargain hunting, and supporting local makers.

Michelham Priory Christmas Fayre

• When: Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 November 2025, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Where: Michelham Priory House & Gardens, East Sussex

• Cost: Admission to priory + event fee (check site)

• What’s on: Step into the festive spirit with artisans, seasonal crafts, food stalls, live music and Christmas-themed displays among the historic priory grounds.

Glow Wild at Wakehurst

• When: Thursday 27 November 2025 (evening)

• Where: Wakehurst, near Haywards Heath, West Sussex

• Cost: Ticketed event

• What’s on: A magical illuminated walk through woodland and gardens, combining light installations, soundscapes and nature in an immersive after-dark experience.

Leonardslee Lights

• When: Friday 28 November – Monday 30 December 2025 (evenings)

• Where: Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, Horsham, West Sussex

• What’s on: A festive lights trail through enchanting gardens, featuring illuminated displays, seasonal lighting effects and family-friendly sparkle.
