Dog Flap Used To Burgle Property In Isfield

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Station Road, Isfield, in which a dog flap was used to enter a property.

At around 1pm on Tuesday (September 21), the victim visited the vacant property to find a dog flap at the rear of the house had been damaged and a hitch lock attached to a caravan outside had been broken off.

The keys to the caravan were also missing from inside the property.

A shed at the rear of the garden is understood to have been broken into, but missing property hasn't yet been reported.

The break-in is believed to have taken place at some point between Thursday (September 16) and Tuesday 21st.

Anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around that time is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 226 of 21/09.
