Police are appealing for witnesses following the attempted robbery of a 78-year-old man in Crawley this morning (Sept 6).
The victim was walking his dog in Goffs Park at around 5.45am, when he was approached by a group of five men who demanded money.
He told them he didn't have any on him, but when he tried to leave, they obstructed him until he threatened to phone police.
The victim was left unharmed but shaken.
The suspects are described as black males, aged between 16 and 18.
