Roads police and the National Police Air Service helicopter have chased a moped rider through Brighton and Hove.
The chase followed reports to the Tactical Firearms Unit at 10am on August 27, that he was riding without a helmet in Kingsway in Hove.
The driver, was eventually arrested in Cooksbridge Road, Brighton and charged with taking the vehicle, dangerous driving , driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
Jack Coomber, 28, of no fixed address, appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on August 28 charged with the three offences, and was remanded in custody.
He is next due to appear before Lewes Crown Court on Friday, September 24 for a preliminary hearing.
