Fire At Gatwick Parking Site Destroys 140 Vehicles

Holidaymakers returning from trips through Gatwick Airport are facing disruption after a fire at a nearby parking site destroyed around 140 vehicles.
The blaze broke out at Caldyne Business Park near Crawley shortly after 21:00 on Saturday, sending huge flames and plumes of smoke into the sky.
Eight fire engines and water carriers were sent to tackle the fire, while crews remained at the scene on Monday to damp down hotspots.
A 67-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and released on bail while enquiries continue.
Sussex Police says there were no casualties.
The fire also affected the local electricity supply, with more than 2,000 homes temporarily left without power. Electricity has since been restored.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is advising people whose vehicles were damaged to contact their parking operator directly.
Gatwick Airport says it does not own or operate the site and understands how "concerning and distressing" the incident will be for passengers.
The airport is advising anyone affected to contact police.
