Police Appeal After Man Stabbed At Portslade Railway Station


Police are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was stabbed at Portslade railway station.
The incident happened shortly before 7.20pm on Thursday, during an altercation outside the station involving four men and two women.
The victim suffered a single stab wound and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Sussex Police believe the six people involved in the altercation were in their late teens or early 20s.
Detective Inspector Jennifer Pietersen said the incident would understandably cause concern for local residents, adding that officers were working to establish what happened and identify those involved.
