Former Sussex Police Officer To Appear In Court Over Hastings Collision

A former Sussex Police officer is set to appear in court charged with driving without due care and attention.

Ex-PC Ciaran Gaymer, 26, is accused of colliding with another vehicle while driving an unmarked police car in Hastings on 17 May, 2024.

The incident left the driver and passenger of the other vehicle with minor injuries.

Gaymer, who resigned from the force in October last year, will appear before Staines Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 11 September.
