More than 60,000 people headed to Glynde Place in East Sussex over the weekend as Love Supreme Jazz Festival returned with one of its biggest line-ups to date.

Headliners Ezra Collective, Loyle Carner and De La Soul topped the bill across the three-day festival, which featured a mix of jazz, soul, hip-hop and R&B alongside emerging artists.

Friday night saw BRIT Award and Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective return to headline the festival a decade after making their Love Supreme debut, closing a specially curated Temple of Joy programme with one of the weekend's standout performances.

Loyle Carner took to the main stage on Saturday for his first Love Supreme headline appearance, attracting one of the festival's biggest crowds.

During his performance of Ottolenghi, he dedicated the song to chef Yotam Ottolenghi, who was attending the festival, where his pop-up restaurant sold out throughout the weekend.

Sunday's closing headline performance came from De La Soul, whose only full-band UK show of the year brought the festival to a close.

Elsewhere, legendary soul groups Maze and The Temptations joined forces with The Four Tops to entertain packed crowds, while saxophonist Courtney Pine celebrated 40 years since the release of his landmark debut album Journey to the Urge Within.

Festival-goers also enjoyed performances from multi-Grammy winners Esperanza Spalding and Samara Joy, while rising stars Knats, Eniola and Olympia Vitalis were among the emerging artists featured across the weekend.

Away from the music, organisers expanded the festival's wellness programme with the new Ancient + Brave 'Brave Tent', which included a guest appearance from Davina McCall, while families enjoyed an enlarged Little Supremos area offering activities and entertainment for younger visitors.

Love Supreme Jazz Festival will return to Glynde Place from 2-4 July 2027.

Super Early Bird tickets go on sale this week, with discounted tickets available ahead of next year's event.
