The Love Supreme Jazz Festival has announced the first acts set to perform when Europe’s largest outdoor jazz festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July 2026.

Two major headline artists lead the first wave of confirmed performers: Ezra Collective and Loyle Carner.

This year marks the first time the festival will feature three full days of main stage programming, kicking off on Friday with a headline set from Mercury Prize and Brit Award winners Ezra Collective.

The group, who first played the festival a decade ago as an emerging act, will also curate the entire opening day under the banner Temple Of Joy, inviting a handpicked roster of musicians who reflect their eclectic influences and collaborative spirit.

Ezra Collective said:

“Love Supreme has always held a very special place in our hearts.
"Coming back as main stage headliners feels like a full circle moment, and we’re honoured to bring some of our favourite bands and artists along.
"We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next summer.”

Saturday’s headline slot goes to critically acclaimed British rapper Loyle Carner, following a hugely successful 2025 that included four sold-out nights at Brixton Academy, a Glastonbury Other Stage headline performance, and the release of his Top Five album Hopefully.

Carner said:

“Love Supreme’s been on my list of festivals to play for ages… it celebrates all the music I hold close. Plus my mum goes every year. Catch you in July!”

Also joining the 2026 line-up are:

  • Samara Joy – 5-time Grammy-winning jazz vocalist

  • The Temptations & The Four Tops – legendary Motown groups appearing together

  • Jalen Ngonda – acclaimed US soul singer

  • Esperanza Spalding – genre-defying bassist and vocalist

  • D.K. Harrell – rising blues star

  • Carrtoons – NY-based producer and multi-instrumentalist

  • The War and Treaty – US husband-and-wife soul duo

Artists confirmed as part of Ezra Collective’s Temple Of Joy include Kokoroko, Moses Boyd, Luke Una, and Mississippi soul group Annie & The Caldwells.

Alongside world-class performances, the festival will once again offer a wide variety of experiences, from wellness and yoga sessions to a dedicated Kids Area, cabaret and spoken word stages, swing dance lessons, late-night woodland sets, and the popular Jazz Lounge hosting talks, interviews, and film screenings.

More acts, including the Sunday headliner, will be announced soon.
