Man Dies After Van Goes Over Peacehaven Cliffs

A man has died after a van went over the cliff edge at Peacehaven.

Police were called to Seaview Road at about 4.30pm on Wednesday, July 1, following reports the vehicle had fallen onto the beach below.

The driver, who has not yet been formally identified, was found dead at the scene.

Officers have confirmed an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the coroner has been informed.
