Person Taken To Hospital After New Year’s Eve Bungalow Fire In Horsham

One person has been taken to hospital following a fire at a bungalow in Horsham on New Year’s Eve afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the property in Farhalls Crescent at around 12.45pm.
West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Paramedics treated one person at the scene before they were taken to East Surrey Hospital for further treatment.
Residents were urged to avoid the area while crews worked to make the scene safe.
Four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were sent to the incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used four jets and two high-pressure hose reels to bring the blaze under control.
A spokesperson confirmed that all occupants of the property were accounted for.
