Police investigating a serious assault and affray in Horsham have released images of two men they want to speak to.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance inside M Bar in Piries Place at around 12.40am on Saturday, January 31, involving a large group of people.

A 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Three men aged 27, 22 and 19, along with an 18-year-old woman, were also injured during the incident.

A 26-year-old woman from Kingston-upon-Thames was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police are now appealing for help to identify two men they believe may have information about what happened.

The first is described as around 5ft 10in, with dark hair, aged in his 20s or 30s.

He was wearing a red and white rugby-style short-sleeved polo shirt, a dark jacket, dark trousers or blue jeans, and brown boots or shoes.

The second is described as around 5ft 9in, with a beard and slicked-back dark hair, also aged in his 20s or 30s.

He was wearing a dark zip-up jacket, blue jeans, dark shoes and white socks.

Detective Inspector Lee Simmonds said:

“This was an unacceptable incident of disorder which put individuals, members of the public and police officers at risk of harm.
“We are particularly keen to identify the two men pictured and urge anyone with CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage to come forward if they haven’t already.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police online, quoting serial 45 of 31/01.
