A supermarket frontage has been damaged in a ram-raid in Lindfield.

Police say a vehicle was reversed into the Co-op store in Lindfield High Street during the early hours of Thursday morning.

Nothing is believed to have been stolen. Officers say a group of suspects left the scene in a separate vehicle.

An investigation has been launched into reports of criminal damage and burglary.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is urged to contact police.
