Sussex Police Investigate Dangerous Driving Incident In Horsham

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was driven dangerously in Horsham on Thursday 26 March.
The incident happened around 11.30am, when a dark blue (possibly appearing black) 4x4 was reported travelling from Leith View Road, through Roffey Playing Fields, into Lockwood Close, and then west along Lambs Farm Road.
The vehicle later collided with a pedestrian bridge near St Mary’s Church on Causeway. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident, driving while unfit through drugs, and possession of a class A substance.
He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or has relevant footage from CCTV, dashcam, or mobile devices to come forward.
