The University of Chichester has announced a major new partnership with Southeast Bangkok University, creating a new international education hub called ‘Chichester Bangkok’.

The collaboration marks a key milestone in the university’s global strategy and will allow students in Thailand to study for dual British and Thai qualifications under courses validated by the University of Chichester.

Students will be able to earn a UK degree while gaining insight into Asian perspectives, combining academic excellence with international experience.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Symeon Dagkas said the partnership represents “an exciting chapter” for the university.

“By working closely with SBU, we are creating pathways for students to access high-quality British education while embracing the rich cultural and economic landscape of Thailand and the wider region,” he said.

The initiative will promote cross-cultural learning, industry engagement, and a curriculum designed to prepare graduates for global careers.

The project is part of the university’s long-term mission to expand its international reach and strengthen cultural and educational ties between the UK and Southeast Asia.
