Woman Seriously Injured In East Grinstead Crash

A woman has suffered serious injuries following a crash involving a lorry and a car in East Grinstead.
The collision happened on the Lewes Road (A22), shortly before 5.30am today.
Sussex Police said the driver of the car was taken to hospital for treatment.
The A22 is closed between Worsted Lane and Luxfords Lane while officers deal with the incident.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
