A Nutley café hit by a lorry crash says it’s been an “incredibly stressful” two months as the team now hopes to reopen by Christmas.

A lorry has crashed into a café in Nutley, injuring one person and causing significant damage to the building.

Volunteers are helping to renovate a home so a family whose cottage was destroyed by fire can have somewhere permanent to live by Christmas.

More than £13,000 has been raised for a Nutley family after their cottage was destroyed in a fire.
