Appeal After Teen Robbed At Knifepoint In Hastings Underpass

Police are appealing for further witnesses following a robbery involving a teenage boy in Hastings.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on March 31 in the underpass beneath Albert Road, linking Castle Street and Wellington Place.
A 15-year-old boy reported being approached by a man wearing a balaclava and threatened with a knife.
He handed over a small amount of cash before returning home and contacting police.
The suspect is described as being of Black or mixed race, around 20 years old, approximately 5ft 10in tall, and wearing a black balaclava or face covering, black Nike fleece, black Nike jogging bottoms and black trainers.
He is also reported to have spoken with a Northern English accent.
Officers are continuing enquiries and reviewing CCTV from the area.
They are urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have seen anything suspicious, to come forward.
