Teen Jailed For Life For Murder At Seaford Station

A 17-year-old boy has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering 16-year-old Joshua Ingram at Seaford railway station.
The boy, who was 16 at the time of the attack and cannot be named for legal reasons, was found guilty following a trial at Hove Crown Court.
He was sentenced today (2 October) to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 14 years in custody.
The court heard Joshua was stabbed at around 5pm on 10 September 2025 after the defendant followed him into the station.
Joshua was seriously injured and died at the scene despite efforts by paramedics and members of the public to help him.
British Transport Police said detectives later found messages on the defendant's phone in which he had threatened to harm Joshua over a disputed debt.
Two other boys, aged 15 and 17, who were convicted of assisting an offender, were also due to be sentenced today.
