Dog Rescued After Being Trapped Under Worthing Ice Rink

Firefighters rescued a dog trapped beneath Worthing Ice Rink in Steyne Gardens on Saturday lunchtime.

Crews arrived to find the dog stuck under the ice and spent almost an hour freeing it. The animal was safely reunited with its owner.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service praised the operation, highlighting the team’s careful work to ensure the dog’s safety.
