Students across East Sussex are celebrating today as A Level, Technical and Vocational qualification results are revealed.
Cllr Bob Standley, the county’s lead member for education, congratulated young people on their “hard work and determination,” saying their results reflect their commitment and preparation.
He also praised the dedication of teachers, tutors and training providers, adding:
“The commitment shown by students will give them a solid foundation to continue their studies or begin their future careers. We wish them all the best of luck.”
The council is reminding students that support is available for those who didn’t get the results they hoped for. Advice can be found by contacting your school or college, or through the Youth Employability Service at www.cxk.org/resources/east-sussex-18-resources.
Cllr Standley also highlighted the importance of mental health support for young people and encouraged anyone struggling to seek help.
