Falmer Man Charged With Child Sex Offences

Police in Sussex have charged a man with 15 sexual offences against a child.

Benjamin Grant, 28, of Ridge Road in Falmer, has been charged with nine counts of rape and six counts of assault by penetration involving a girl who was known to him.

The allegations relate to a period between 2009 and 2018.

The victim, who is now an adult, is being supported by specialist officers.

Grant will appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (26 March).
