Police are seeking help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, at around 8.30pm on Monday, 15 December.
He is described as a white man, around 5’6” tall, in his late teens to early twenties, with light brown hair.
He was wearing a grey puffer jacket and dark coloured trousers, possibly joggers.
Emergency services were called following reports that a woman had been stabbed in the leg.

An 18-year-old man, from Eastbourne, who was previously arrested in connection with the incident, has been released from custody and has been eliminated from police enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Pittman, from Eastbourne CID, said:
“Following extensive enquiries, we are continuing to pursue a number of active lines of investigation.
"We understand incidents of this nature can be concerning, and there will continue to be a visible police presence while our investigation progresses and to provide reassurance.
“Officers are working tirelessly to identify the person responsible and appeal to anyone who may have information, CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage, and have not yet spoken with officers, to make a report online or call 101, quoting serial 1276 of 15/12.”
