Man Injured In Worthing Stabbing

A 37-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Worthing.

Sussex Police were called shortly after 1am following reports of an assault at the junction of Shelley Road and Salisbury Road.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers are now searching for a suspect described as a slim man wearing a brown T-shirt and jeans.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or who may have information which could help with the investigation, to come forward.
