Two Men Charged After Girls Reported Sexually Assaulted In Crawley


Two men have been charged with sexual offences after two teenage girls were reportedly assaulted in Crawley.
Police were called shortly before 5am on Wednesday (30 September) following a report that two girls, aged 15 and 16, had been sexually assaulted in a car park in Parkside.
Officers attended and safeguarded the girls before arresting two 19-year-old men.
Ali Farahang, 19, of Hunter Road, Crawley, has been charged with attempted rape and human trafficking under the Modern Slavery Act.
Adam Maina, 19, of Bath Road, London, has been charged with rape and human trafficking under the same legislation.
Both men remain in police custody ahead of an appearance at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Saturday (3 October).
Police say the girls are continuing to receive support from specialist officers.
