The wife of a motorcyclist who died in a collision with a bus in Crawley has paid tribute to her husband as police continue their investigation.
Valera Sharavara, 39, from Crawley, was riding a motorcycle involved in a collision on The Boulevard at around 8.22pm on Thursday 4 June. He died at the scene.
In a tribute released by Sussex Police, Mr Sharavara's wife described him as a devoted husband, proud father and loyal friend. She said he was born in Ukraine and was a loving family man whose greatest pride was his three sons.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision and are renewing an appeal to identify the driver of a white Mercedes believed to have been travelling westbound along The Boulevard shortly before the incident.
Police believe the driver may have witnessed events leading up to the collision and could hold information that would assist enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Ian Foxton said officers remain committed to establishing exactly what happened and urged the driver, or anyone who knows who was behind the wheel at the time, to come forward.
Investigators are also asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam, CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage from the area, to contact police if they have not already done so.
Anyone with information is asked to email [collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk](mailto:collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk), quoting Operation Carver.
